Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo 2026 takes place from 9 to 12 November at the International Barcelona Convention Center (CCIB). The conference brings together CIOs and IT executives. For an exhibitor, the stand brief should connect a clear business proposition with a practical demonstration. Give demonstrations room to work
A screen showing a dashboard has different needs from a seated product walkthrough. Define the viewing distance, number of people in each demonstration and the equipment your team will bring. Plan counters, screen positions and cable routes around that use, rather than adding them after the layout is complete.
Share power, network and device requirements early. Connectivity and venue services must be agreed with the relevant providers; a stand design alone does not guarantee a connection or a technical service.
Balance visibility with focused discussions
Use a concise message to introduce the problem your product addresses. Supporting graphics can explain an application, while a meeting area allows your team to discuss implementation in more detail. Keep circulation space clear and provide storage for everyday supplies.
From our workshop in Ranst, we coordinate exhibition stand design and construction in wood-built or modular approaches. Production, transport, assembly, dismantling and any reuse arrangements are defined in the project scope. Send the organiser’s exhibitor manual and deadlines before production decisions are finalised.

What should our first briefing include?
Your confirmed participation, floor plan, open sides, demonstration equipment, team size, meeting requirements, timing and budget direction. Add any existing stand elements you want to reuse.
