Modular walls for exhibition stands
Total Concept designs and builds exhibition stands using bespoke timber construction and modular systems. Walls organise the stand and provide space for branding, product presentation and storage. The right approach depends on your design, stand dimensions, finish and exhibition schedule. We start with what your stand needs to achieve.
Bespoke timber construction or a modular stand?
With timber construction, components are made to suit the design. This creates scope for distinctive shapes, bespoke furniture and finishes that reflect your brand. Modular construction uses compatible components to build walls and enclosed spaces. The selected system determines the available dimensions, connections and finishing options.
Both approaches can deliver a professional exhibition stand. Appearance is one consideration alongside transport, installation, storage and future events. Total Concept discusses timber and modular construction in the context of your project, so the proposal can follow your requirements.
Translate the floor plan into a wall layout
A back wall, storage enclosure and presentation wall each serve a different purpose. Identify open sides, product demonstration areas and places for conversations. Consider access to storage and how your team will move around the stand. The booked stand space and the organiser’s technical manual form the starting point for the layout.
Coordinate graphics, lighting and products
Printed panels, logos, lighting and service connections affect the wall design. Explain which objects will be mounted on or positioned beside the walls, and how cables and fixings should be concealed. Fixings and load capacity must suit the selected construction. Our guide to signage and print helps you prepare the visual finish as part of the same brief.
Plan reuse across several exhibitions
Stand sizes and open sides can change from one exhibition to the next. Share your event schedule early so we can discuss which components could be used again and which graphics or bespoke elements would need adapting. Reuse needs to be considered during design; it should not be assumed for every stand or every future layout.
What affects the cost?
Comparing timber and modular construction is useful when the scope is comparable. Floor area, height, finishes, furniture, graphics, technical requirements, transport and installation all influence the proposal. Tell us whether you are preparing for a single show or a series of events. This makes it possible to compare solutions against the work your project actually requires.
Prepare your exhibition stand brief
Send the floor plan, stand dimensions, open sides, preferred height, event dates, reference images and an indicative budget. Explain what you want to display and which existing components you would like to retain. Explore our exhibition stand design and construction or our guide to exhibiting in Europe.
