Plan a stand around the equipment you need to explain

For an exhibitor presenting infrastructure, the stand brief should start with the demonstration. Will visitors see a physical unit, a cutaway model, a screen presentation or a combination? Identify dimensions, weight and access requirements before defining the display positions. Keep technical explanations readable from the aisle and reserve space for detailed conversations away from the demonstration.

What to include in your stand brief

• Equipment dimensions, delivery packaging and any handling constraints.
• The number of demonstrations and meetings you want to accommodate at once.
• Your available stand plan and the organiser’s current technical manual.
• Power, connectivity and other requirements to coordinate with the appointed venue services.
• Existing graphics or stand components that may be suitable for reuse.
