LIGHT+BUILDING 2028
Plan your Light + Building 2028 exhibition stand
Light + Building runs from 5 to 10 March 2028 at Messe Frankfurt. The trade fair brings together lighting, electrical engineering, building automation and connected security technology. For exhibitors, the stand needs to make both the product and its application understandable to a professional audience, from designers and architects to installers and engineers.
Show what the product does in a real setting
A luminaire is experienced through its light as well as its physical design. A control system needs a legible demonstration of what it controls. Before developing the stand, identify the product experience you want visitors to have: examining a finish, comparing an effect, operating a control or discussing an installation detail.
For lighting displays, provide product dimensions, mounting requirements and the viewing conditions you want to achieve. Surface finishes and the position of neighbouring displays can influence the presentation. We can study how the stand structure and display surfaces support your concept, while the final technical arrangement remains subject to the products, venue conditions and approved project scope.
Make connected technology easy to follow
Building automation and electrical systems can be difficult to explain through a wall of product names. Group demonstrations around the application or decision your visitor needs to understand. Give a presenter enough space to operate the system, with a clear view for the people watching.
Tell us which equipment will be live, which components are display-only and who will commission the demonstration. Cabling access, ventilation requirements and maintenance access should be identified before production. Specialist electrical work and venue connections must be assigned to the appropriate party; they are not automatically included in the stand construction price.
Support the conversation after the demonstration
Professional visitors may need to compare specifications, discuss a project or involve a colleague. A consultation table close to the relevant display can help your team move from explanation to a focused conversation. Consider where staff will keep technical documents, demonstration accessories and personal belongings so these do not occupy the presentation surfaces.
Send your stand dimensions, open sides, display list and expected meeting needs. Total Concept develops wood-built and modular solutions from its workshop in Ranst, Belgium. Our exhibition stand design and construction connects the presentation concept with fabrication, finishes and assembly.
Agree the technical responsibilities before production
Use the exhibitor information for your edition to establish deadlines, approval requirements and access arrangements. Your quotation should identify responsibility for transport, assembly, dismantling and any separately ordered services. We provide stand services; Messe Frankfurt manages the event and its applicable conditions.
Can an existing product display be integrated into a new stand?
Provide its dimensions, photographs, connection requirements and condition. We can assess how it fits the new layout and what adjustments are needed before proposing new production.
Should the stand design wait until every product is final?
The initial concept can begin with confirmed priorities, but mounting details and technical interfaces need agreement before the affected components are manufactured. Flag undecided products in your brief.
