INTERGASTRA 2028

February 12, 2028 - February 16, 2028

Exhibition stand planning for INTERGASTRA 2028

Bring your hospitality products to life at INTERGASTRA in Stuttgart, 12–16 February 2028. Plan a stand that gives demonstrations, tasting sessions and business conversations the space they need.

INTERGASTRA brings together professionals from hotels and gastronomy at Messe Stuttgart. Its topics include food and kitchens, furnishings and tableware, services and IT, beverages, coffee and ice cream. The organiser is Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG, and the fair runs every two years. Check the official INTERGASTRA information for the current programme and participation details.

Start with the demonstration, then design the stand

A coffee machine, a professional kitchen appliance and a hospitality software platform need different presentation spaces. Begin your brief with what visitors should see, try or discuss. A working demonstration may need a protected operator area, a clear viewing line and room for people to wait without blocking the aisle. A software demonstration needs readable screens and a quieter place to discuss implementation.

List equipment dimensions, weight, power requirements and any water, drainage or ventilation needs before the design is finalised. Confirm technical orders and approvals with the venue or organiser. They should be agreed for your particular exhibit; a stand design does not replace those approvals.

Make hospitality work behind the counter too

  • Sampling and service: distinguish preparation, presentation and visitor collection points. Include space for consumables and waste handling appropriate to your activity.
  • Product visibility: decide which products must be seen from the aisle and which need a hands-on explanation. Use clear signage rather than filling every surface with messages.
  • Meetings: reserve a suitable discussion area for hotel operators, restaurant teams or distribution partners without interrupting demonstrations.
  • Back-of-house: plan storage for packaging, coats, spare materials and cleaning equipment. Check hygiene and operational obligations with the relevant authorities and organiser.

Custom wood construction or a reusable system

Total Concept designs and produces exhibition stands from its base in Ranst, Belgium. Wood construction, modular structures and combinations of both can be considered according to the layout, finish and exhibition programme. Reuse depends on the components, their condition and the requirements of your next venue; it should be planned rather than assumed.

Discuss transport, installation, dismantling and possible storage as part of the project scope. For an overview of our process, visit our exhibition stand design and construction service.

What should you send with your enquiry?

Share your allocated stand plan, open sides, product list, demonstration schedule, technical requirements and budget range. Include the organiser’s current exhibitor instructions and any plans to reuse the stand at another show. These details help us define the design, production and installation scope.

Preparing your INTERGASTRA stand?
